Spooky Kids Shirt Design

​The project started with a series of detailed technical drawings, focusing on understanding the structure, proportions, and surface details of the boot before moving into a more creative direction. The initial sketches (see ) break the design down into multiple orthographic views, highlighting elements like the tread, shape, and material—giving me a solid, accurate foundation to build from.

The challenge was to turn this into a Halloween-themed t-shirt for kids, so the design shifted into something much more playful and character-driven.

I reimagined the boot using bold colors, exaggerated shapes, and fun, spooky details to give it personality—transforming it from a functional object into a lively, eye-catching graphic.

The final design was then applied across different apparel mockups (shown in ), exploring how it works with various colorways and settings. The result is a fun, energetic t-shirt design that blends technical precision with a more imaginative, kid-friendly style.
